The Code of Support Foundation is pleased to endorse the organizations listed here and recommend that all who support our troops take the next step by donating to or volunteering for one or more of these organizations that provide direct material support to our troops, our wounded warriors, our veterans, and their families.
Our endorsement is based on the missions of these organizations being consistent with the spirit of the Code of Support, and on vetting the quality of their operations and the results they achieve. Our intent is to provide a manageable list of quality organizations for those who want to help but don’t know where to begin since there are thousands of organizations of varying quality which purport to support the troops and seek your financial support. The absence of any particular organization on this list should not be considered a reflection of that organization’s quality or integrity. If you have already been supporting any particular organization, we urge you to continue to do so.
Some of the larger, more recognizable organizations are deliberately not included here, not because of any issues with their operations, but solely because these organizations have very large fund-raising programs of their own and would not materially benefit from our assistance in promoting them. (You will find several of these organizations listed on our home page as Partners with whom we are pleased to cooperate.) Our intent here is to focus on assisting and promoting what we believe to be a select list of high quality smaller organizations that are scalable and can significantly increase their impact with any additional funds that we may be able to help them raise. In addition, some of our COS Foundation programs are focused exclusively on a subset of these Featured Organizations which are addressing what we have identified as a critically under-resourced need.
For your convenience, we have divided the listed organizations into four categories pertaining to their major focus. Keep in mind that many organizations perform service in many of the indicated categories, but they are listed only once here.
