HP’s Snapfish division is supporting the Corps of Support campaign by featuring a new line of greeting cards and note cards for sending to service personnel and veterans.  Most of the designs can be personalized by the sender, including adding photographs.  These cards were made possible in part through the generosity of several professional designers who created designs incorporating the Corps of Support yellow ribbon logo.  All sales of these cards will benefit the Code of Support Foundation and the Corps of Support campaign.  Click HERE to see the Snapfish Military Families page, and then click on the “Cards Supporting Our Troops” graphic to see the full line of available cards.

The Honorable Norman Augustine today joined the National Committee for the Corps of Support Campaign which is currently in its final planning stages.  Augustine, a former Under Secretary of the Army and Chairman of Lockheed Martin, was enthusiastic in his support.  ”This is a wonderful, long overdue undertaking and I applaud your leadership, ” he commented.

As our nation enters its tenth year of war, we have never been more united in our desire to serve with and alongside the military community – our servicemembers, veterans, and military families. And yet, despite our best efforts, too many Americans still do not know how they – as individuals – can help.

As part of the ServiceNation program, a special initiative called Mission Serve is undertaking several key activities to address this challenge and make it easier for citizens to serve alongside and on behalf of our military communities.  Go to www.missionserve.org to see the exciting projects already underway and learn more about the initiative.

The Code of Support Foundation is pleased to announce that our web site is now operational in “preview” mode while we continue to make final revisions and prepare for our upcoming national campaign.  This means that beginning today the public is free to add their signatures to the Code of Support and thus become members of the Corps of Support for our troops!  Be sure to scan the log of the more than 500 Charter signers who have already pledged to follow the Code of Support and dedicated their pledges to service members and veterans. Sign the Code and Join the Corps!!

The Code of Support Foundation is now in the process of preparing to launch a nationwide campaign asking all Americans to join the “Corps of Support” for our troops. We cannot all be members of our armed services (less than 1% of Americans now serve), but we can all (the other 99%) be members of the Corps of Support! What is required to become a member? Simply “sign the code“, pledging to follow the Code of Support for our troops and you will automatically be a member of the Corps of Support. It’s that simple. And as the Corps grows with thousands of Americans signing on, it will send a powerful message to our troops that America stands solidly behind them!
